Bottega Veneta Mens Intrecciato Wallet Part 2

6 months of usage, the wallet has proved both reliable and subtly classy.

However, there has been a few drawbacks that I would like now to expand:

Because of the nature of "weaved leather" once this is in your pocket it is very easy to rip or damage the leather patterns of you take it out quickly, the fingernails will cling on to the weaved edges and cause damage to the square stripes - if you're a perfectionist then every scratch is like a stab to the heart haha...

The major flaw of these intrecciato wallets is cracking issues when used generally on the top corners and middle areas. Here the pictures are shown of pretty noticeable splitting of the adhesive and leather joining sections:

The flaking of the edge is caused by general wear and tear - further use without repairing (which is probably expensive as hell since they need to ship it to Italy) will cause detrimental effects to the longevity of this wallet

More commonly occurring is the cracking on the wallet edge:
Normal use will cause the edge to curl inwards and cause a split between top sections.

hmm......
